Wieczór z muzyką i kinem w OPT Zamek Leśnica

W ramach współpracy Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival oraz Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Filmowego Nowe Horyzonty zapraszamy Państwa na wyjątkowy wieczór łączący świat muzyki i kina. Przed seansem filmu „Nad rzeką, której nie ma” w reżyserii Andrzeja Barańskiego odbędzie się koncert wprowadzający publiczność w klimat tego niezwykłego obrazu. Na scenie wystąpi wybitny wrocławski trębacz Dominik Gawroński wraz ze swoim kwartetem. Subtelne, nastrojowe brzmienia zespołu stworzą muzyczny pomost między koncertem a filmową opowieścią, pozwalając płynnie zanurzyć się w emocjach obecnych na ekranie.

Międzynarodowy Festiwal Filmowy Nowe Horyzonty (23.07-02.80) to niemal 300 filmów w programie, w tym najgłośniejsze tytuły prosto z Cannes, spotkania z wybitnymi twórcami kina oraz wyjątkowe wydarzenia artystyczne odbywające się w całym mieście. W programie znajdą się także koncerty w Klubie Festiwalowym w Arsenale, podczas których usłyszymy między innymi aranżacje muzyki z kultowego „Twin Peaks”. W tym roku częścią festiwalowych wydarzeń będzie również Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival. Wspólnie spotkamy się podczas plenerowego seansu przy Zamku w Leśnicy, tworząc wyjątkowe połączenie muzyki na żywo i filmowych emocji.

An Evening of Music and Cinema at OPT Zamek Leśnica

As part of the collaboration between the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival and the New Horizons International Film Festival, we are pleased to invite you to a special evening that brings together the worlds of music and cinema. Before the screening of “By the River That Does Not Exist” (Nad rzeką, której nie ma), directed by Andrzej Barański, audiences will enjoy a concert designed to introduce the atmosphere and emotional landscape of this remarkable film.
The stage will feature acclaimed Wrocław-based trumpeter Dominik Gawroński and his quartet. The ensemble’s subtle and evocative sound will create a musical bridge between the live performance and the cinematic narrative, allowing the audience to seamlessly immerse themselves in the emotions conveyed on screen.

Jazz Emotions Before the Film Screening

The 26th New Horizons International Film Festival (23 July – 2 August) will present nearly 300 films, including some of the most acclaimed titles straight from the Cannes Film Festival. The programme will also feature meetings with distinguished filmmakers and a wide range of special artistic events taking place throughout the city. Festival highlights will include concerts at the Festival Club in the Arsenal, where audiences will hear, among other performances, arrangements of music from the cult classic Twin Peaks.
This year, the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival will also form part of the festival programme. Together, we will gather for an open-air screening at Leśnica Castle, creating a unique fusion of live jazz music and cinematic storytelling.
