OLD BREAKOUT – featuring musicians from Tadeusz Nalepa’s legendary BREAKOUT line-up of the 1970s – returns to the stage to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the groundbreaking album Blues Breakout.
BREAKOUT was the defining blues-rock phenomenon of 1970s Poland, a band that helped shape the sound of an entire generation. Today, OLD BREAKOUT proudly carries that legacy forward, bringing the timeless spirit of Polish blues-rock to contemporary audiences.
A Legacy Spanning More Than Half a Century
Bridging two musical eras separated by over fifty years are the very artists who helped create the original sound of BREAKOUT:
Tadeusz Trzciński – harmonica, member of BREAKOUT (1970–1974), featured on the iconic albums Blues Breakout, Mira, Ogień, and Karate;
Maciej Bogusław Kubicki – bass guitar, member of BREAKOUT (1978–1981), featured on Pożegnalny Cyrk and To Mój Blues.
They are joined by an outstanding group of contemporary blues musicians:
Marcin Kołdra – vocals, guitar
Sławomir Burakowski – guitar

Over the past three years, OLD BREAKOUT has performed approximately 150 concerts, attracting more than 50,000 audience members. Nearly every performance has concluded with standing ovations, confirming the enduring appeal of BREAKOUT’s music and the exceptional quality of the band's live shows.
In 2025, the group also performed what was widely regarded as the largest blues concert in Poland at the Pol’and’Rock Festival, further cementing its status as one of the leading blues acts on the contemporary scene.
This special concert will be a true feast for blues and rock enthusiasts. Audiences will have the opportunity to hear almost the entire legendary Blues Breakout album performed live, alongside ninety minutes of other classic songs from the BREAKOUT catalogue and the celebrated songwriting partnership of Tadeusz Nalepa and Bogdan Loebl.
